• Brussels Sprouts

Named after the capital of Belgium, where they may have first been cultivated, Brussels sprouts look like tiny heads of cabbage. And the resemblance should come as no surprise since both belong to the same botanical family.

Care & Handling

Choose Brussels sprouts that are fresh in appearance with a uniform green color, firm texture and compact leaves.

Do not wash or trim Brussels Sprouts before storing them. Store Sprouts in their stand-up pouch in the refrigerator. Fresh Brussels Sprouts must be used within 18 days of the pack date.

No need to wash Halved or Shredded Brussels Sprouts as they are pre-washed and ready to use. Prepare as desired according to your recipe. Test for doneness by inserting a knife tip into the stem end, which should be slightly tender when done.
